Llancloudy Sedition
was born 6 weeks premature. His dam Flower was scanned at 21 days in foal and her due date should have been towards the end of May. However, on the 15th April 2006 enters Sedition.
Flower did not produce enough colostrum for Sedition and we decided to get his bloods checked for agg levels, these showed up as being critical at only 300. It was decided that he should receive a plasma transfer and the follow day after rechecking his agg levels, we were pleased to see them over 800.
From then on Sedition was to increase in bodyweight and fill into that skinny little body. Flower and Sedition would eventually find there way back to the main broodmare group and throughout the summer months, Flower and Sedition thrived.
It is now early December 2006 and Sedition along with his siblings are all weaned off and doing well.
Llancloudy Sedition will be retained by Gina Feakins.
